Dr_Andrew_Levitt.jpgDr. Levitt grew up in Gilbert enjoying just about every activity the great state of Arizona had to offer from soccer, ice hockey, & lacrosse to tennis, golf, hiking, & boating. After graduating from Brophy college preparatory in Phoenix, AZ he went to North Carolina State University to obtain his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences while continuing to play club ice hockey & lacrosse. He then attended Podiatric Medical School for 4 years at Temple University in Philadelphia. After receiving his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine & Surgery he began his extensive 5 year residency career. He spent his first 2 years at UF Shands Jacksonville, including 3 months on the trauma team. He spent his 3rd year treating veterans at the Atlanta VA before transferring to Yale – New Haven Hospital for his 4th & 5th year. He served as chief resident during his final year at Yale & completed his residency in Foot & Reconstructive/Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery. He spent a few years practicing in Florida before moving back to his hometown of Gilbert, AZ.
