Dr. Mahsa Agha Jafari is a foot and ankle surgeon, board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She specializes in lower extremity pathology including heel pain, arthritis, gout, tendinitis, neuroma, cyst, athlete’s foot, plantar wart, ingrown toenail, nail dystrophy; trauma including fracture, ankle sprain, and tendon ruptures; wound care and diabetic foot care; sports medicine, ankle instability, bunion deformities, biomechanics, and orthotic casting; providing conservative and elective and non-elective surgical treatment.
Dr. Agha Jafari completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Arizona State University. She obtained her medical degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona where she graduated with Pi Delta Honor. She completed her surgical training at Valley Wise Medical Center/Creighton University in Phoenix, Arizona. During her surgical training, she served as the administrative chief resident of the podiatric surgery department at a level one trauma center with training focused in Forefoot and Rearfoot Reconstruction and Ankle Surgery; and specialized training inclusive of Arizona Burn Center, and General surgery internship.
In her free time, Dr. Agha Jafari enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys cooking and baking, especially her native food of Persian cuisine. She is also fluent in Farsi.
Dr. Agha Jafari’s goal is to provide exceptional patient care while considering both conservative and surgical options. She is a strong advocate for providing educational information for the prevention of foot and ankle pathology as well. She believes in treating each patient with respect while meeting their needs on an individualized basis.Â
